Because I thought I'd get new cards every time.Upon buying this just recently, I noticed that it stated veryclearly that each starter set contains the "SAME" cards.That silliness aside, it was great to have this in my hands again.I've recently set out on a conquest to collect all of the first 151 Pokemon - original cards only.I had many cards come through my hands throughout my childhood, andI would love to relive that rush of excitement I had every time I came face-to-facewith a new card. The new Pokemon (and new cards) are nothing compared to theoriginals.My story aside, this is a great way to secure a few of the standard Pokemon cards.If you're on the same mission as I am, start with this and then buy the first-edition, foil "Booster Packs"in order to catch 'em all.
