POP-UP card The pop-up card can be a greeting card, greeting card, invitation card, gift card, farewell card or thank you card. The special feature of this type of card is the 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional (2D or 3D) object, which stands up impressively and imposingly when the card is opened. The card is made of thick paper, and many individual parts are laser-cut and some are printed. These are then painstakingly assembled by hand into a work of art. The impressive and unique folding technique enables the object to be unfolded/erected when the card is opened, and the object folds into itself when the card is closed. In addition, the folding technique and the individual parts are positioned and selected in such a way that the card has a minimum thickness when closed and still remains very thin and without dents or deformations.
